Berasia witnesses the glory of the Guru-Shishya tradition: CM Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurates Sandipani Vidyalaya worth ₹50.74 crore
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the inauguration of Sandipani Vidyalaya in Bairasia is not just the launch of a new school building, but the beginning of a new era of education in the area and a bright future for the students. This school will provide quality education to the students with modern facilities and will provide them better opportunities to move ahead in life by enriching them with knowledge, values, confidence and skills. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration ceremony of Sandipani School in Bairasia on Sunday. He inspected the school campus and congratulated the students on the new, fully equipped school. The cost of Government Sandipani Thakur Lal Singh Higher Secondary School, built in an area of about 35 acres, is Rs 50 crore 74 lakh. The Chief Minister also planted saplings in the school premises. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that parents give life to children, but school and teachers make their life meaningful by giving the right shape to their personality. Just as iron turns into gold by the touch of Paras, similarly good schools and capable teachers enhance the talent of students and make them an invaluable asset of the society and the nation. Schools are not just places to acquire bookish knowledge, but are also the main centres for character building, discipline, values and development of life outlook of children.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India has been identified with knowledge, education and guru-disciple tradition for centuries. The aim of our education system is to take students from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge. India's ancient educational tradition has attracted the entire world. Sandipani schools are being developed in the state to advance this glorious tradition in accordance with modern needs. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told the students that the aim of education should not be only to get a job. Along with becoming a good doctor, engineer, lawyer, journalist, and administrative officer, one can also become a modern farmer, a successful entrepreneur, a skilled businessman, and a responsible citizen. Students should choose a field according to their interest and talent and resolve to achieve excellence in it. Whatever field they pursue, they should work with complete dedication, honesty, and hard work to achieve excellence.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also honoured meritorious students of Bairasia, Akash Sahu, Chanchal Kushwaha, Sanyam Jain, Bhavna Prajapati, Rupali Rajak and CA Avantika Sahu, residents of Sandipani Vidyalaya, who performed excellently in the board examinations, by giving them trophies and certificates. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav conducted a road show in Bairasia. The citizens gave a warm welcome and felicitated the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister greeted the citizens. District Panchayat Chairman Ramkumar Gurjar, District Panchayat Vice-Chairman Mohan Singh Jat, Municipal Council Chairman Tanu Rathore, District Panchayat Chairman Lata Gurjar, Tirath Singh Meena, public representatives, Principal H.N. Mishra, officials of the School Education Department, school teachers and a large number of students were present at the programme.
