Bhopal: The face of the capital Bhopal is now going to change. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has given in-principle approval to two major infrastructure projects to relieve traffic congestion and make airport connectivity hi-tech. This approval was given when Bhopal MP Alok Sharma met Gadkari in Delhi and presented a detailed outline of the proposals to him.

First project:

17 km cable bridge from Rani Kamlapati station to airport: Under this mega project, a 17 km long cable bridge will be built to connect the capital to the airport, in which 2 km part will pass through the Bada Talab area in the form of an elevated bridge. At present, considering the delay in reaching the airport and the problem of traffic jam, this bridge has become a need for the city. Nitin Gadkari approved the proposal, calling it 'practical and need of the hour for Bhopal'.

Second proposal:

To convert the 35 km road between Karond and Berasia into a four-lane road: This proposal has been approved under the PM Gati Shakti Yojana. This road will connect NH-146 to NH-346, ensuring smooth traffic between the capital and rural areas. Bhopal MP Alok Sharma said that 'these two projects are not just infrastructure upgrades but will form the basis for the future structure of the capital.' Now all eyes are on the DPR and construction process of these proposals, which are likely to be formally launched soon.

There was a demand for making a four-lane road in order to benefit 350 villages on the 38km long route from Karond Square in Bhopal to Berasia. Bhopal MP Alok Sharma met the country's Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and made a demand

The special thing is that the Union Minister agreed to the proposal and assured to approve this route soon. MP Sharma said that once the Bhopal (Karonda) - Berasiya road becomes four-lane, there will be better road connectivity from Nazirabad to Guna, Shamshabad to Siroj and Ashoknagar including the villages on the route.

Soon millions of people will get a big gift...
